    Job Description

    Summary: Laura Buick-GMC is looking for the best and brightest to become part of our winning
    organization! The Service BDC Agent is responsible for following up with service customers and
    fielding calls for the Service Department.


    Reports To: Service Manager

    Hours: M-F Hours will vary

    Responsibilities

    • Respond promptly and professionally to all inbound internet lead activity via phone and email with a focus on minimizing lead response times
    • Respond promptly professionally to voicemail and email messages
    • Complete prescribed follow-up process pertaining to prospects with an emphasis on appointment setting
    • Stay current with all GM product training, build value and sell customers on features, benefits, and value of purchase
    • Add and update client records ensuring that all service customers’ records are current
    • Maintain constant communication with the Service Writers, to ensure that appointments are properly prepared for
    • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction, cultivate sales referrals, and solicit service
    • Set and achieve targeted performance goals
    • Remain fully compliant with Company HR Training
    • Other duties as assigned by management

     

    Qualifications

    • Excellent customer service and communication skills
    • High school diploma or GED required
    • One year of relevant experience preferred
    • Excellent telephone skills
    • Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
