    Jack Schmitt Ford of Collinsville celebrated it's 40th year in the Collinsville community in 2024. We continue to be a market leader in New Ford Sales, Customer Satisfaction, and Online Reputation among other things. We are a pillar of the Collinsville community and our organization and team support countless local charities and organizations.

    We have recently reopened and re-established our pre-owned center adjacent to the new Ford showroom. Our inventory and sales volume are growing quickly and we need help!

    We offer a huge inventory, all of the best tools and support to market yourself and work with clients, and an outstanding team of managers, finance and support people to make sure we take great care of every customer.

    We understand the challenges of being a retail automotive sales professional at an average dealership, so we strive to create policies and benefits that overcome those challenges. We are area leaders in compensation, scheduling (4.5 day work week and a Saturday off each month), and employee benefits.

    Our dealership prides itself on being easy to transact with. That means that it won't be part of your job to present customers with surprises, add-ons, hidden fees, or other industry tricks. Leave those things behind at your old dealership. It also means our customers don't experience any of that. We belive in serving a lot of people and delivering value- not trying to see how we can charge more for our products, add friction to our process, etc.

    Jack Schmitt Ford continues to grow and expand our business in Collinsville. We are looking for talented Sales Professionals to assist us with our growing levels of showroom, phone, and internet traffic.

    We have grown in volume and profits for 10 of the last eleven years and we feel we are only getting started. We are engaging clients in the digital space and converting them to customers of Jack Schmitt Ford. It is important that you are comfortable engaging with customers via the phone and internet. Our philosophy is not to hide things and deceive people in order to get them to our showroom, instead we offer an open, transparent process that starts from the customer’s initial contact with us on the phone or internet. If this isn’t your style, then we aren’t your style.

    Position is full time. We offer one of the most competitive pay plans in the area and an outstanding work environment. We also offer a full benefits package including partially company paid health insurance, paid holidays, Christmas Bonus program, vacation pay after 1 year of service, and a great 401k.

    We have some of the best scheduling in the area. Salespeople on our team enjoy a monthly Saturday off and a weekly schedule that is more supportive of a good work/ life balance than other dealerships offer.

    Opening is immediate and we will look to meet with qualified candidates in the coming days.

    Must be at least 21 years old

    • Must have 1 year or more of prior and recent dealership sales or related experience.
    • Must be willing to take a pre-employment drug screening test.
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are a must.
    • Demonstrated superior customer service skills.
    • Must be able to stand, sit, or kneel for several hours a day.
    • Ability to multi-task and handle several phone calls at once.

    Dealership and/or recent customer service retail experience a plus.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary and Commissions on our staff range from : $55,000.00 /year to $165,000 per year.
